Nikki McKoy is a Principal of Research Operations for PINC AI™ Applied Sciences, the research and analytics division of Premier. As a public health professional with proven experience in population health, she executes prospective research from the proposal through IRB approval, site recruitment and results. She has also served with PINC AI Population Health on a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) “Learning Systems for Accountable Care Organizations” contract. Before joining Premier, McKoy spent more than a decade supporting federal contracts funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and CMS. Most recently, she was Program Director for Technical Assistance with ASHLIN Management Group, where she led a CDC-funded effort to assist small to mid-size employers with worksite wellness. She was also an Assistant in Medicine faculty member at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she managed a large CMS award to provide care coordination to chronic disease patients and systematic evidence reviews on women’s and children’s health for the Vanderbilt Evidence-based Practice Center. In addition, McKoy was the Study Center Coordinator for the National Children’s Study in Davidson County, Tennessee. She has helped impact women’s health in both North Carolina and Tennessee on a large scale by supervising development and distribution of the 2009, 2011 and 2013 Tennessee Women’s Health Report cards and the 2007 North Carolina Women’s Health Report Card. McKoy received a master’s degree in public health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in history from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
