Craig Lipkin


Craig Lipkin is a Biostatistician for PINC AI Applied Sciences®. Since joining Premier more than eight years ago, he has worked on a variety of projects supporting research for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, focusing on study outcomes related to product comparisons and burden-of-illness. He reviews and implements statistical analysis plans, working with researchers and clients to develop the focus of their projects. Before joining Premier, he was a Senior Research Analyst and Statistician at Independence Blue Cross, where he was responsible for statistical methodology and experimental design for program evaluations in the informatics division’s consultative business services unit. He also was involved in numerous evaluations of the cost effectiveness of different case management programs. In prior positions, Lipkin was a Statistics Teaching Assistant at Drexel University and served as a Data Analyst and Statistician for clinical trials at the University of Pennsylvania’s Treatment Research Center. He has a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in mathematical statistics from Drexel University. He also has completed all coursework and examinations toward earning his doctorate in decision sciences at Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business with specific focus on experimental design and statistical inference. His research interests are in propensity adjusted regression and time series models with a focus on cardiovascular and cancer-related retrospective outcomes. He has been involved in presentations for regional and national meetings and co-authored numerous scientific articles in leading medical journals.
