Julie Gayle is a Research Scientist for PINC AI Applied Research®. She has over 15 years of research experience conducting retrospective and prospective studies across a wide range of healthcare-related areas. Therapeutic areas of research include oncology, HIV/AIDS and cardiovascular. Before joining Premier, Gayle worked at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as a Project Manager for randomized controlled trials in HIV/AIDS research. She also worked at Thomas Jefferson University Medical School, providing project management for colorectal and prostate cancer research studies. She has co-authored numerous publications appearing in peer-reviewed journals including American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Medical Economics, Clinical Therapeutics, Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, and AIDS and Behavior. Gayle holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in healthcare management and policy.
