Laura Greene is a Director of Research Operations for PINC AI Applied Sciences®, the research and analytics division of Premier, and is a nurse with an oncology background. Greene has expertise in executing research studies successfully and in compliance with current research regulations. She has more than 25 years of nursing experience with recent work focused on FDA-regulated research. Prior to joining Premier, Greene worked with a Clinical Research Organization facilitating start-up for FDA-regulated protocols at study sites. Greene also spent 10 years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a Research Nurse Specialist, Regulatory Compliance Analyst with the Vanderbilt Human Subjects Protections Program and Research Projects Manager. She facilitated Institutional Review Board meetings and served as a regulatory resource to the Vanderbilt University research community. As a Research Nurse Specialist, Greene worked with thoracic oncology patients on studies funded by the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health and the pharmaceutical industry. As the Research Projects Manager, Greene coordinated a global study in diabetic nephropathy. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University and an associate’s degree in nursing from Motlow State Community College. She also holds certifications as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) and Certified Institutional Review Board Professional (CIP).
